Personal: I am a mother of three small children and I have a very wonderful husband named Matthew. We live in the mountains of western North Carolina, Murphy, to be exact. I am a full-time medical transcriptionist and work at home, a full-time mother, a part-time educator at a local community college, a part-time etching artist at a local monument company and a novelist. Yet with my daily hectic life, I still manage to find a few scant moments to pick up a brush or a pencil and create fantasy art which is my favorite past time. When I first became a part of eBay, I began selling my paintings for just a hobby, and then me and my husband found out some terrible news...our middle child Luke was autistic. Ever since any creation I've done and sold including prints, ACEOs, etc, have all been placed into a special account to help pay for my son's special needs. At the present time, Luke attends a school where they see to his needs as an autistic child. I have been drawing and painting since I was a little girl and love to dabble in all types of media, with acrylics being my first choice. I focus my attention on fantasy art, mainly fairies, but also love to paint mermaids, unicorns, other magical creatures. Hobbies: When I am not painting, I enjoy writing. I have published a historical romance novel and I am working on #2 at this point. A few of my favorite things to do are: read, play video games, watch movies and read books to my children. I am an avid Harry Potter fan and think that J.K. Rowling is brilliant. My motto: Everyone has a hidden talent, find it, develop it and use it to the upmost of your ability.
