Kim's journey in art came to life when she could hold a crayon. Through the years she painted, loved to draw, at 37 she took a journey into gourd and driftwood art which led her to the world of sculpting with clay.
Kim's love for sculpting became a new growing experience day by day with each wee being created it only gave her the obsession to create more, to grow and to finally breath artistically. Finally home, Kim was able to grow as an artist and a sculptor.
Capturing the spirit of innocence would best describe the vision into Kim's fairy realm. Each wee being starts out with no preconceived notion or vision just her hands & heart manipulating the clay until a new wee being is born. She knew she was home at last, and it only took her 37 years to find that place and she would never leave, her own little corner of the World. The one she now loving calls The Mystical Garden.
Inspired by children and all their beauty, wisdom and character, her little fairies started coming to life taking on personalities that the young at heart would surely understand. From the mischievous pixie, to the free spirited flying fairies, they all evoke the innocence of a child and the spirit and wonderment of childhood.
Kim is very humbled and thankful that her fairies and visions of fairytale's are being loved and enjoyed by collectors Worldwide
